Home Away from Home

Get Comfortable

We provide all RNnetwork travel nurses with free, private housing for every travel nursing assignment.

We want you to be comfortable; that's why we work hard to find you a safe and cozy place to live and, when available, include such extras as a pool and fitness room. Your home-away-from-home will also be nicely furnished.

All of the arrangements will be taken care of by your RNnetwork housing specialist, who will make sure you live within easy reach of the facility you are working in. If you have particular needs, give your housing consultant a call. Someone is available 24/7 to help.

Experienced specialists

Our housing specialists have an average of eight or more years of experience. They know the geographical areas they focus on well and understand what to look for regarding safety, community population, and local hotspots. They will also contact you regularly to ensure we are meeting your needs.

Move-in dates

Once all your paperwork is in order and you have been cleared to begin work, you will be given the address of your housing. Typically, you will be able to move in 48 hours prior to the start of your assignment.

Yes, you can bring Rover

We know that pets are important companions for many travel nurses, so we include housing communities that allow pets in our housing roster. Some restrictions and fees may apply, so ask your recruiter for details.

Bringing the family

If you are a travel nurse with a family, we have housing available in many wonderful, family-oriented communities. We recommend you check out the schools, community parks, etc., near the housing we provide to ensure it meets all of your needs during your assignment. You'll be happy to know that all of the family communities we work with complete a background check on adult tenants to help ensure your children's safety.

Assignment extensions

Let your housing coordinator know as soon as possible if your assignment will be extended. Housing properties require a 30- and sometimes 60-day notice to vacate. During this time, the property owner may rent the unit to someone else. If your assignment is extended, we will do our best to renew your lease so you don't have to move.

Your own accommodations

RNnetwork offers a generous housing allowance when you provide your own accommodations. You may also receive tax benefits. Ask your RNnetwork recruiter for information about this option.
