Rachel Southworth, a recruiter at RNnetwork, has worked at the company since April 2011. Prior to landing her job, which includes finding registered nurses three-month assignments across the country, Rachel worked in a much different position.
“I was a bartender down at the beach in Fort Lauderdale at a place called Lulu’s Baitshack, a Mardi Gras-themed restaurant serving fun, food and fishbowls of booze,” Rachel shares.
Rachel says she enjoys hearing her providers get really amped about job offers they really want and working with RNnetwork’s great leaders.
“I think my best quality is the ability to quickly form genuine relationships with the people I work with, internally and with my travelers,” she expresses.
When she’s not hard at work, Rachel enjoys cooking and grilling, listening to Bruno Mars and Maroon 5, and watching her all-time favorite movie, Disney’s Robin Hood. She also got a keyboard for Christmas and is learning to play, and she’d love to spend several weeks traveling abroad in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Rachel enjoys reading the Food Network magazine and likes all food besides mushrooms — though the only dessert she likes is crème brulee. As for pets?
“Just call me cat lady,” Rachel says.
